No Parking Posting Requests
The Parking Services Department gets requests from time to time to post areas for temporary "no parking". We are able to post "no parking" areas for the following reasons:
- temporary special event
- construction dumpster
- roadwork/sidewalk repair
- moving vans
- tree contractor
- funerals
If you would like to submit a "no parking" posting request, you will want to create an account in our portal. Once logged in, you will choose "Parking" and click "Posting Request".
All posting requests may take up to 48 hours to review and must be posted at least 48 hours ahead of time. Large construction areas that post an area that contains 2 or more blocks, require 72 hours' notice and 72 hours' posting time in order to give residents proper notice to make arrangements. Only 2 vehicles per block will be allowed for a construction posting area and you will need to provide the license plates and vehicle information at time of the request. All workers' vehicles may utilize metered areas or our public garages.
Postings may be approved for up to 2 weeks maximum. These must be active work areas. If work is not taking place, the signs may be removed and you will be required to submit another payment for posting again. If you are requesting a posting in a paid-parking area, there will be an additional charge per day/per space.
All posting costs are included in the Borough's annual fee schedule. Signs will not be posted unless the payment has been received with at least 48 hours' time to post the signs.
For residents that require additional spaces for less than 24 hours, we are happy to print a sign for you free of charge. These complimentary signs will not include any enforcement action (ticketing & towing). It will be your responsibility to save the space.
Payments made on weekends will not be considered accepted until Monday morning. Any requests that are received after noon on Fridays will not be considered received until Monday morning.
