Subdivision and Land Development

The process of dividing or assembling property or building a new or expanded commercial building or two or more new residential units is regulated by the Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development code. These rules exist to make sure that changes proposed by developers help achieve community goals. Proposals that comply with Zoning are generally consistent with the Borough's comprehensive plan which guides change over a long time period.

If you are a business or property owner interested in subdividing and developing property in the Borough, we strongly encourage you to work with a team of skilled and experienced professionals to guide you through the process.
